COVID-19 Updates
We are excited to announce that it is time to return to Physie classes!!!!!
Our School has advised that under strict conditions set by the NSW State Government, we are permitted to return to face-to-face classes in our usual venues from Monday 15th June 2020.
COVID-19 Management Policy
We have undertaken risk assessments for both of our sites and established a COVID-19 Management Policy to assist us in our return to classes. This can be found here. This covers all aspects of our COVID-19 response as a Club.
Altered Class Times
All Juniors and Seniors classes will remain on Mondays at Collaroy Plateau and Tuesdays at Naremburn with temporarily altered start and finish times. Ladies classes will be divided into 2 separate class times due to the larger class size. Please take note of the amended class times below. If you cannot attend your listed time, please contact Alice on 0429 396 606. Advanced Ladies should follow this link to select a class.

Dropoff and Pickup Procedures
We have amended our dropoff and pickup procedures to ensure that physical distancing restrictions are adhered to in order to minimise risk of transmission.
Collaroy Plateau:
Dropoff
- Please proceed with care to the top of the ramp at the front of the hall by foot or by car (the normal class entrance point).
- Children will need to be dropped here, follow the signs and ground markings down the ramp to the waiting area and wait on the crosses in the waiting room area. Members are reminded to maintain their distance (as much as we would love to hug each other after such a long time!)
- Members are asked not to leave any belongings in the waiting room as classes will be leaving class via the hall side door.
- We ask that no parents or carers enter the waiting area please and instead drop at the top of the ramp.
Pickup
- All members will exit via the hall side door and walk up the path with their teacher to be picked up at the top of the ramp.
- The girls will follow the teacher and stand on ground markings to ensure that physical distancing and road safety are maintained.
- We ask that parents/carers wait at the top of the ramp (whilst maintaining physical distance) at the end of their class and do not come into the waiting area at this time.
- *PLEASE TAKE CARE AT THE DROP OFF POINT AND IN THE CAR PARK*
Lower North Shore:
Dropoff and Pickup – we ask that all members be dropped off at 4pm and picked up at 5pm from the northern entrance of ENC café (the normal entry door). We ask that parents maintain physical distancing when waiting outside the café to collect their child.
If you/your child is unwell

During Class
As we get used to this “new normal”, please remember the following guidelines for class:
- Please arrive dressed and ready to do your physie
- Use the sanitiser on the way in and out of class (younger members will be assisted with this)
- Stay on your assigned marker for the whole class – we won’t be changing lines during class but will make sure that members stand in different spots week-to-week to allow for comp practice
- Bring your drink bottle as there won’t be any taps or bubblers available
- Please don’t bring any toys or extra items to class
- If you need to cough or sneeze, please use a tissue (provided) and put it in the bin provided, then sanitise your hands
- Members will be able to use the toilets one at a time rather than in pairs
- Stay safe and have FUN!
